2020 is a special year for all of us. The world has changed and will continue to do so and so our business of teaching and learning, schooling evolves with it. The 20Y21 academic year we start with virtual learning again. It makes a huge difference. We can't continue with traditional lecture style of teaching. Thinking of how to make an interactive learning with students and how to work to increase rate of responses from students. I searched a lot information about learning apps. Pear Deck is one of the most useful tools I found. By using Pear Deck, you can see them giving students lots of opportunities for active student responses, using a resolution room for support, giving positive reinforcement as well as having an appropriate balance of online/offline activities. I really Love it!! The school was impressed to see this lesson and asked me to make a screencast about it for staff to review as an exemplar lesson. I also made a small tutorial to show how to set up a page for students.
If you want to know more about how did I put together the PearDesk slides for this lesson, please click the link.
